GENERAL ENT Many patients begin their care with one of our general ENT physicians, who refers them a specialist to address more specific conditions. Others remain in the care of a general ENT physician throughout their treatment. Our physicians treat infections involving the ears, nose, throat, sinuses, and skin of the head and neck; congenital, inflammatory, and other problems, such as dizziness, hearing loss, changes in taste or smell, or swallowing and voice problems; sinus disease; trauma and injuries to head and neck structures; and breathing problems of the nose, larynx (voicebox), or trachea (windpipe); and snoring and sleep disorders.
Balance Disorders Employ the most sophisticated diagnostic techniques to identify and treat the cause of a patient’s dizziness, such as vestibular disorders (problems in the inner ear), bacterial or viral infections, reactions to medication, disorders in the central nervous system, the brainstem or brain, or cardiovascular problems such as high blood pressure or anemia.
Head and Neck Surgical Oncology We collaborate closely with medical and radiation oncologists to customize the most appropriate plan of therapy for patients with head and neck tumors include those of the throat, mouth, throat, sinuses/nasal cavity, larynx, thyroid, and skull base. Whenever possible, we take a minimally invasive approach to head and neck cancer surgery and have created pioneering endoscopic approaches to facilitate tumor removal that are performed without having to make any external incisions. Our head and neck reconstructive surgeons also have specialized training and exceptional experience in facial reconstructive surgery.
Audiology and Hearing We offer state-of-the-art diagnostic tools for hearing loss, as well as the most current technologies to manage hearing loss, including digital hearing aids, implantable devices, assistive listening devices, and personal amplification systems. The wide array of rehabilitation services we offer includes auditory training, management of tinnitus (ringing in the ear), speech reading, and orientation to the use of hearing aids.
Cochlear Implantation and Rehabilitation Our cochlear implant specialists have extensive experience in cochlear implantation and post-surgical rehabilitation. They work with rehabilitative audiologists to provide a comprehensive program of speech therapy and training in listening, language and speech-reading skills to help our patients make the most of their cochlear implants.
Sinus and Nasal Disorders We takes a highly individualized approach to sinus and nasal disorders, offering a wide array of medical and surgical therapies for everything from chronic allergies to nasal polyps. Our expertise includes allergic rhinitis, nasal congestion and obstruction, chronic nosebleeds, sinusitis, nasal polyps, disorders of taste and smell, snoring and sleep medicine, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, and voice and swallowing disorders.
